Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Innovation and Creativity: Assess the originality and uniqueness of the idea. Look for creative solutions that bring something new to the table or approach a problem in an innovative way.

 

Functionality: Evaluate how well the project works. Does the prototype function as intended? Is it user-friendly and intuitive? Does it solve the problem it aims to address effectively?

 

Impact: Consider the potential impact of the project. How many people could benefit from the solution? Does it address a significant problem or need? What positive changes can it bring to the community or industry?

 

Feasibility: Assess the feasibility of the project, including the technical aspects and the team's ability to implement the solution within the given timeframe and resources. Consider the scalability and sustainability of the solution.

 

Presentation: Evaluate the clarity and effectiveness of the team's presentation. Are they able to articulate their idea, its features, and benefits clearly? Did they effectively demonstrate how their solution works?

 

User Experience (UX) and Design: Consider the overall user experience and design of the project. Is the interface intuitive and visually appealing? Does it provide a seamless experience for users?

 

Technical Complexity: Assess the technical complexity of the project. Consider the use of advanced technologies, algorithms, APIs, or integrations. Projects that demonstrate technical prowess often receive recognition.

 

Collaboration and Teamwork: Evaluate how well the team collaborated and worked together. Consider factors like team communication, division of tasks, and the ability to leverage each team member's strengths.

 

Market Potential: For projects with commercial potential, assess the market viability and business model. Consider the target audience, potential competitors, and the project's ability to attract users or customers.

 

Social Impact and Sustainability: Consider the social and environmental impact of the project. Does it promote positive social change or contribute to sustainability efforts? Projects with a focus on social good often receive favorable attention.
